St. Johns Education Association and St. Johns Educational Support Personnel Association are the professional education organizations for instructional and support staff employed by St. Johns County Schools. Our two unions are the voice for quality education. We serve and protect your best interests as well as the best interests of your students. We are the exclusive bargaining agent for teacher and support staff contracts in this school district.

IMPORTANT UPDATE!

Dear SJEA members and potential members,
Please review the recently negotiated MOUs (memorandums of understanding). The MOUs are tentative agreements, and need to be ratified. August 10, 2020 has some critical deadlines for those that want to take the opportunity for the pandemic leave or the retirement incentive, so be sure to read the MOUs carefully.
We will send another email with voting instructions and deadlines.
We have over 100 new members since July 1. We encourage you to join our professional union – a membership form is attached.
